Hoe het begon

We’re not academic theorists hiding in universities. Lichaamstaal Instituut B.V. started because we saw a gap — professionals across the Netherlands needed practical knowledge about body language and non-verbal cues, but most resources felt disconnected from real life.

Our founders spent over 15 years studying communication in corporate environments, negotiations, interviews, and everyday interactions. They realized that the most powerful communication happens without words. A handshake reveals confidence. Eye contact signals trustworthiness. Posture broadcasts your mental state. These aren’t small details — they’re everything.
